TWO people are walking the streets of KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga unaware that they have won a stake in the Lotto worth more than R10 million.
According to the National Lottery Ithuba, the winning tickets were bought at Shoprite Checkers in KZN and Pick n Pay in Mpumalanga. The winners invested R5 and R10 respectively.
The jackpot from February 12 paid out R10 620 941.
Each winner, who selected their numbers manually, will receive R5 310 470.50.
Ithuba urged all players to check their tickets promptly and come forward to claim their prizes.
The winners have 365 days from the draw date to claim their prize. They will be paid out within 72 hours of a valid claim, and all National Lottery winnings are tax-free.
Players can check their tickets at the retail stores, or check results on the National Lottery website or social media pages.
