Elsewhere in the draw, Kaizer Chiefs, the other Soweto giants, will travel to the Western Cape to go up against Stellenbosch FC in another intriguing tie. In KwaZulu-Natal, Durban City — formerly Maritzburg United — have been drawn alongside Marumo Gallants.
For Mamelodi Sundowns, they've been drawn into the Royal AM saga, and will host the winner of the yet to be played Round of 16 clash between the Sekhukhune United and either one of Royal AM and Milford.
Royal AM's Round of 32 game against Milford FC was not played as scheduled after the PSL cancelled the KZN club's upcoming fixtures due to the precarious financial situation they find themselves in.
The club are currently under the curatorship of the South African Revenue Services, and are set to be sold to recoup up to R40 million in tax debt owned by owner, Durban businesswoman and socialite Shauwn Mkhize.
