The National Lottery Ithuba said one person won over R4 million in the Powerball jackpot from Tuesday, February 11, 2025 draw.
The winning ticket was purchased through TymeBank with a wager of R22.50, using the Quick Pick selection method.
The person will walk away with R4,124,764.70.
Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza said: "We can't wait for the winner to come forward; it's always fulfilling to hear how such a significant win is going to change someone's life and witness first-hand the impact the winnings have on their lives."
Ithuba said since January 1, 2025, ten players have become instant multi-millionaires across both Lotto and PowerBall games.
The National Lottery has also paid out R486 million in winnings for this year alone.
Ithuba reminded its players that tickets are valid 365 days from the draw date.
In addition, winnings are paid out within 72 hours of a valid claim, and all National Lottery winnings are tax-free.
Winners of R50,000 and above, receive trauma counseling and financial advice.
Some of the notable recent wins was the R102 million Powerball jackpot.
The winner spent R100 on his winning ticket which was purchased through the FNB banking app.
