This is their story in their own words.

Couple 1: Jill and Justin Andrews

Where do I begin to tell this story. The average boy meets girl scenario is so cliché , but nevertheless a story which must be told. Our story is by far not your average, so here goes.

How we met, his mom was a teacher at the same school my mom taught at, she was directing the school play. Both our moms played cupid and bought us tickets and then the magic happened. We rocked up at this concert at the Joseph Stone Auditorium, seated next to each other, the “Sound of music” and the rest as they say is history.

The next steps of our lives we were forward and had our daughter six months before we got married, but hey it’s life and things happen.

Shortly after getting married, our daughter Jorgia-Lee was 2 years old and I became seriously ill.

My gall bladder, full of stones which popped out and ruptured my pancreas. Causing huge complications in my Pancreas. It was a living nightmare in hospitals etc, operations and many days off sick from work.

We were newly weds at the time, navigating a baby, life and all this sickness. This is the moment that sets the tone for the rest of your lives together. If ever there was time that I needed someone to help me through it all, it was then. Needless to say he was there!

Through life’s challenges I went back to finish my degree 19 years after matriculating. With a house, kids and husband. I once again had my person, my husband to lean onto. With him, I  graduated Cum Laude in the top 15% of my grade because he supported me.

We are married 16 years and together for 19 years our love story continues to blossom.
