Ashley Ogle's fans have already sprung into action following her surprise eviction from the “Big Brother” house. They set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for her, to show just how much they wanted her to walk away with the prize money.

Big Brother pulled a fast one on Monday night with a surprise eviction that left housemates and viewers stunned.

Things took a turn after the challenge when housemates were instructed to vote for a fellow contestant they wanted to evict.

The housemates voted, and Ashley Ogle received four votes as well as Nsuku, which resulted in a tie between them.

Swiss, as Head of House, was tasked with breaking the tie and chose to evict Ashley, saving Nsuku.

This is not the first time Big Brother fans have come together to support their faves. They have a history of raising money and gifting generous presents to contestants who did not win the grand prize.

To the fans, it's all about showing love and appreciation for the housemates. Whether it's furniture, cash, or other gifts, fans always find a way to show their support, which is mind-blowing since they don't know these people outside of their TV screens.

“Big Brother” Mzansi fans have been especially generous. Khosi Twala, Liyema  Pantsi, Zintle “Zee” Mofokeng, and Yolanda Monyai are examples of housemates who have benefited from fan-led fundraising.

And now, Ashley Ogle's fans are doing the same for her. It's bizarre but amazing to see how much love and support the fans have for these contestants.

The fans are going wild for these contestants and it's amazing to see! Ashley Ogle's fans are showing her so much love, just like they did for the other contestants before.

The GoFundMe page for Ashley Ogle is already underway with fans from across the globe donating funds into the account. The page has been flooded with messages of support and encouragement.

Some of the housemates who've received money from their social media fans include:

Khosi Twala

Khosi Twala was part of “Big Brother Titans” and walked away with $100 000 (R1.8 million) prize money from the popular reality show in April, 2023.

Luck was certainly on her side, she received  a cheque from her fans on X for R100 000 shortly after the big win.

Liyema Phantsi

Liyema Phantsi, the “Big Brother” season 4 reality tv star was showered with a long list of luxurious gifts that include a fully furnished two bedroom apartment and some professional studio recording equipment.

In addition to this, the “Lillies,” as she calls her fans, also created a separate GoFundMe campaign to support the promotion of her music, raising an impressive R20,000.

Zintle "Zee" Mofokeng

The reality TV star and influencer Zintle “Zee” Mofokeng was a finalist on “Big Brother Mzansi” season 4.

She is another fan favourite who was showered with money and gifts, receiving a R100,000 cheque from her social media fans in January 2024 after receiving a R100,000 cheque and a MacBook from her fans back in May 2024.

Yolanda Monyai

Yolanda was also in the same season of “Big Brother” Mzansi with Phantsi and Mofokeng. Her fans started a R1 Million GoFundME drive for her after she was disqualified from the popular reality competition after making gender-based violence (GBV) remarks.

Monyai’s fans still believed that she deserved to walk away with the prize money and ensured that she received some money outside of the “Big Brother” house.
