The controversial Big Brother Mzansi contestant Ashley Ogle has been evicted from the show after a surprise eviction on Monday night.

Big Brother pulled a fast one on Monday night with a surprise eviction that left housemates and viewers stunned.

The jaw-dropping eviction came after the Head of House games, where the remaining member of the “Bandana Boys,” Swiss, won the Head of House challenge. Things took a turn after the challenge when housemates were instructed to vote for a fellow contestant they wanted to evict.

The housemates voted and Ashley Ogle received four votes as well as Nsuku, which resulted in a tie between them. Swiss as Head of House, was tasked with breaking the tie and chose to evict Ashley, saving Nsuku.

The sudden departure left Ashley’s “boyfriend,” Guluva, was devastated, and the remaining housemates emotional. He could be seen crying and isolating himself as the night progressed.

The surprise eviction caught everyone off guard, as eviction nights typically take place on Sundays. This Sunday, three people were evicted - Luzuko, Sipha Lee and Ezra.

Viewers are now scrambling to piece together the reasons behind Ashley's abrupt exit.

Some are speculating about the brief conversation between Ashley and Guluva when she was hugging him goodbye, where she allegedly whispered “don't worry about the baby, I’m not gonna do anything to it.”

This has sparked rumors about a possible pregnancy, could “Biggie” have set the eviction up so she can leave without the other housemates knowing?

Viewers are comparing this season's eviction to last season's surprise eviction of Lerato Modise, who was also suddenly removed from the house, only to return a week later due to a fake eviction twist.

Lerato's appearance at Sunday night's eviction show has led to speculation that Ashley's eviction may also be a fake eviction.

However, the official Big Brother Mzansi social media accounts have confirmed Ashley's eviction, posting about her departure and seemingly putting the fake eviction theories to rest.

Now that Ashley is gone, maybe it’s time for Guluva to play his own game without being distracted by Ashley’s cuddles. The viewers need to see him as an individual, he did come into the house alone after all.

This could still be one of Big Brother’s twists but until then? Ashley can rest assured because there is already a GoFundMe in her name and her fans are ready to donate the money to her since she no longer stands the chance to win the R2 million prize.

As of Sunday night, there were 17 housemates remaining; with Ashley's eviction, there are now 16.
