Eskom chief executive Tshediso Matona has approached the CCMA over unfair suspension, the dispute resolution body said yesterday.
“The CCMA can confirm that a referral was received on March 23, 2015 from Tshediso Matona relating to unfair suspension,” it said in a statement.
The matter would be set down for conciliation and all parties would be notified, it said.
Eskom’s media desk confirmed that it had received a notice from Matona that he would challenge his suspension in the Labour Court.
